Uh, I wouldn’t count much on Le Pen - the “right” in France is, for the most part, socialist lite. They’re focused mostly on social, immigration and cultural issues. They’re not willing to go free market either.

She’s not going to move the button much on taxes, regulation and spending. The French are too far gone for that and, like the US, it will take a full economic collapse for the electorate to seriously consider true economic reform.

Well, I will have o disagree with you a bit. The frustration level of the French is getting pretty high. Marine Le Pen is pretty conservative by their standard and cold do them a lot of good.

The downside is that a "man on horse back " comes along and overthrows the whole shebang. It has happened several times before.
