I saw the green lights this time and the other big one about 15 years ago and the quote minor one earlier this year. The first time, several of my family members kidded me until other family members, neighbors and friends who saw the green flashes confirmed what I saw. Apparently, about 10-15% of us see these green lights during the severe earthquakes. The theory is as the ground rolls through and across the land, away from the epicenter, that movement creates a lot of static electricity. Then, the electricity escapes and causes the green flashes that a few of us see. In the big one about 15 years ago, a couple of pilots were in a helicopter and saw the earth moving like waves in the ocean. One of the pilots saw the green flashes and the other didn’t.

Very interesting I still can't believe other people did not see the flashing. My wife said she saw no flash. The room lit up, so it seemed hard not to see it. This light was pulsating on and off brightly from east to west. I assumed it to be sub stations, but friends asked how sub stations would put off flashes like that. Thanks for the info. Started to doubt my eyes.

Re the flashing green lights. We went to a party last night.

There were about 50 people at the party, and of course all of us told our personal stories. I asked everyone I talked to, basically everyone there, if they saw the flashing green lights.

5 of us saw the lights. By now the other 90% of un seeing people, don’t argue with us. They know we saw the lights.
