Good evening, ML!

*HUGS*

A Blessed Lord's Day to you!

I remember that movie well - have not seen it in several decades. As I recall, the scene depicting his dispatch of the suitors on his return to Ithaca was intense - particularly in the light of the standards of the day - now - not so much.

"Dia shábháil ar fad anseo!"

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

It was kind of like “Kill Bill” in Tunics and sandals! LOL.

The technicolor has faded somewhat, but the scene where the old dog Argos recognizes Ulysses actually brought a tear to my eye!
