Not so, because they do not. What they are needed for (by the RATS) is their VOTES. Legal and illegal VOTES. If illegals did not vote for their masters, they would all be back in Mexico (and elsewhere).
Is it true? Heck no. But that is what they claim as a way to sell it.
Another issue: what happens when they all suddenly become legal? Illegals are no longer cheap labor and they can form unions, etc. All of this make them less attractive to employers. Also, no more cash under the table. Every income dollar is now taxed. That means less net pay. They may still work for cash but that is now illegal.
