They elected Republican Luis Fortuño Governor in 2008, but he lost reelection to Democrat Alejandro García Padilla in 2012.
I don’t know.
But I do know that Puerto Rico is a very liberal island and always has been.
I’m sure there are conservatives there - but it’s like California. A rock solid left wing stronghold.
