The employee mandate delay is also going a long way toward quelling the anger I would wager.

Scott Brown is providing the template. Run on strong immigration reform, and strengthening the border. Promise to protect Americans seeking jobs.

Then get elected and do what the Democrats wanted done.

Every single day that goes by I’m consciously aware of it because I have not had ANY health care insurance since January 1, 2014.

The larger question is which issues have the Republicans NOT abandoned? Does anyone know what they stand for, other than re-election?

My adult step-daughter, who is a devoted Obama fan, is just starting to grumble about the effects of Obamacare on her own pocketbook. Since she enjoys an employer-provided plan she's been insulated from most of the mess, and will likely have some more rude awakenings later in the year.

So... I think we need to keep Obamacare in the discussion this election season... it's probably our best shot since Dems know nothing about foreign policy, economics and so on... but they do all have some involvement in their own medical needs.

It’s not that Republicans are abandoning Obamacare as an issue, it’s that the list of Obama/Dem failures is becoming such a target rich environment.
