U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan said Thursday he would love to see Mitt Romney run again for president and teased the GOP's former nominee at one point that the "third time's the charm."

Appearing with Ryan at a public event for the first time since their ticket lost two years ago, Romney offered his own good-humored praise by saying that Ryan "wouldn't be a bad president" himself.

Yes but if he runs again, the Democrat wins.

The GOP really, really needs to get their act together, and fight for a conservative, pro-jobs candidate.

Go America.

Proof a large section of the R party doesn’t want the white house. I don’t know why. I’d love to know why.

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Albert Einstein, (attributed) US (German-born) physicist (1879 - 1955).

Part of the problem was that Romeny didn't and doesn't really want the job. (Zero did, then, but apparently doesn't, now. It's interfering with his golf games and Kobe beef dinners too much.)

Romney would have more cred if he gave the William Tecumseh Sherman ("If nominated, I will not run; if elected, I will not serve.") reply instead of all these wussie denials of interest.

Twice up, twice failed. Mitt had his “turn.”

Not that it’ll make any difference, considering the lock the dems have on the White House... but it’s time for someone else to have his/her rock-star moment.

Personally, I think Romney would win this time around. I think people have seen the mistake they made and, as the polls showed, many regretted not voting for him last time. It would give people the chance to feel like they corrected their mistake.

Having said that, I like Cruz and hope he runs.

Does Romney match his party platform this time around? Didn't think so.

Romney showed us his way with Romneycare in MA just like Obamacare with higher costs for health insurance and a mandate that everyone buy it.....Romney would tweak Obamacare to make it more “market-friendly” but would not end it.

A waste of my vote......

The same Romney, whose OWN son said, after losing, “Well, he didn’t want to be president anyway.”

Is that the same Romney we are talking about, Amnesty Ryan??!!

His little Freudian joke mirrors my lack of enthusiasm for Ryan. Romney, on the other hand, has my enthusiastic opposition.

My impression of Romney is that he’s intellectually a socialist. But he’s not passionate about anything. (Thank goodness.) A passionate socialist probably kills many more than an academic.

Romney has an even more amazing quality, especially given that his record certainly indicates not only an intellectual socialist, but a functioning installer of socialism. RomneyCare in Mass., for example. Or the Catholic adoption agencies that closed instead of betraying the trust of their precious charges, innocent children, to Romney's administration decree that they had to equally accommodate homosexual prospective "parents" with real marrieds, or face antidiscrimination charges. The Catholic adoption agencies closed, thank God, instead of cooperate with such a wicked presumption.

So Romney is more than intellectual in how he leans socialist. Yet the most amazing quality is that even though anyone half-way informed knows this about Romney, they will vote for him because they're really voting "against" -- well, Obama, last time, and who knows what Democrat nightmare in 2016? Maybe Hillary, maybe some shrill socialist even more frightening. A vote for Romney has that amazing quality of being a vote "against" the very thing he carries.

Lunacy.

Yup, lunacy.

All part of the RINO’s plan to lose every Presidential election.
