Thank you for posting all the links. Most of them take me right back to junior high. The “Patches” I had in mind was by Dickey Lee. Kathy in Alaska sent me the link, post #176. I liked hearing the 1919 “Patches.” it was the year my Dad was born. I’m trying to imagine Grandpa and Grandma dancing the Foxtrot.
My dad was born in 1920—in rural Colorado, where the family had settled after fleeing the Nebraska dust bowl of the 1890’s.
