They predicted it’d be warmer that average last winter for our part of the midwest.
Pretty much the whole winter, monthly average was at least two degrees more below average than their various predictions had been for above average.
Ooopsie.
In southeastern Michigan the last time we got this much snow the president was, (wait for it) Ulysses S. Grant. There were several days in January where we were colder than Fairbanks, Alaska. Do you know how many dead deer were found when the snow melted? In my area alone, hundreds. Several houses burned down because when the firefighters tried to turn on the fire hydrants they were frozen solid. That is the kind of winter that southeastern Michgan had.
