To suggest that Canada is re-instating it’s sovereignty in the artic is simply a lie. And, this man knows it because he has been the architect of a Naval force that is now in so advanced a state of decline as to be irrelevant.

I thought Canada, the second largest country in the world, had one or two ships.
Maybe he can send a Hockey team up there to defend the Canadian claims.

misleading his on (sic) people to the point of FRAUD, but I don't see that Michael Byers is an
expert witness on naval, aviation or other areas outside his presumed areas of expertise.
He's a Law/PolySci prof, failed political candidate (for the NDP, ie. socialist party), wants to shut down the
"Tar" Sands "to address the global climate crisis", was sharply critical of the Harper government's supposed militarization of the Arctic etc. Pretty much an all-too-typical mouthy, leftist, tenured academic.
