“who name matches that of a grand juror but would only confirm her service on a jury that ended last week,”

SO... how is it you get to serve on more than one GRAND JURY trial ?

Do you have to pay ? Or you appointed by some official and receive a salary ?

How does that work ? How comes SHE is on more than one trial(assuming she was on both) ?

Grand juries are impaneled for a set period of time. They have a list of cases.

Grand juries aren’t a trier of facts. They sit for a period of time and on their
days in session info is provided by the DA regarding potential illegal activites.
If they believe enough info is provided then they can issue an indictment after which
a trial may be held.
