Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon drew criticism from his own Lt. Governor Tuesday when he said "a vigorous prosecution must now be pursued" in the shooting death of black 18-year-old Michael Brown by white police Officer Darren Wilson in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson.
******
"We have a responsibility," Nixon said, "to come together, and do everything we can to achieve justice for [Brown's] family." Nixon added that McCulloch and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder had an obligation "to achieve justice in the shooting death of Michael Brown must be carried out thoroughly, promptly, and correctly."

What are the legal ramifications of his statement?
Has he tainted the entire state of MO as a jury pool?

Anyone know when this clown Nixon’s seat is up for re-election? This year or 2016?

I sure hope the gov. is prepared to pay the officer's suit when he sues for defamation and everything else.
Does anyone recall the guy in Atlanta falsely arrested and accused of planting a bomb at the Olympics there? I think his name was 'Jewel', maybe Richard Jewel??
Didn't HE sue and receive a settlement?

I don't know if he's in trouble or not, but how he's handling the situation should make it interesting.

This gov needs to be tried for inciting the riots.

Democrats have really stepped up their abuse of power.
It was bad before, but now it has wondered into the ridiculous:
Obama’s intent to fly illegal immigrants to the US,
Rosemary Lehmberg drunken indictment of Gov. Perry,
Gov. Jay Nixon encouraging further unrest in Ferguson
This only happens when there is a GOP that discourages efforts to stop democrat abuses of power.

The RATS had mentioned him as a possible running mate for Hildabeast in 2016. I’ll bet that went out the window.

I use to think Missouri was a red state. Apparently not with Nixon and mccaskill. Maybe ordinary citizens will wake up. No one wants a ferguson in their state.

Ferguson has pretty much decided the midterms and it is not good for the Dems.

In truth, if you take out both St. Louis and Kansas City, the rest of the state would go RED very fast.
