I wonder that too. It’s like the cops gave the criminals a free night of looting. Why did they decide to do that?

Business owners who were vandalized and burned out need to sue the pants off the city and police dept heads who gave the standdown orders....
They have an abundance of evidence......

When you look the other way at the lawbreaking, you are sending the message that you are condoning it. This stand down was departmental orders, handed down from the top...perhaps with a sprinkling of pressure from area politicians, and the DOJ no doubt.
