Ferguson sits right under the final approach/takeoff flight path of the St. Louis airport.
By my observations, almost all traffic in/out of Lambert Interntaional (St. Louis) has been routed to approach and depart to the west, thus away from the Ferguson area.
That's only prudent, and has the greater chance of avoiding damage, death and lawsuits.
