I believe Little Ray is correct. Gross misconduct should not be kept under an umbrella, it needs to see the full light of day, the full glare of publicity, and instead of the taxpayers getting soaked, the miscreants should bear individual and personal accountability.
I agree, misconduct should be put in the spotlight. However, the bottom line is this. Taxpayers elected the County Board. Taxpayers elected the sheriff. They gave them their full support when they elected them.
If taxpayers realize by voting in incompetence perhaps they would take time to know who they are electing.
