On ABC evening news, I was surprised to hear them use words like “barbarians” and “savages”. To think these are the same people that were being hailed as brave freedom fighters struggling to overcome the brutal dictator Assad.

On ABC evening news, I was surprised to hear them use words like “barbarians” and “savages”. To think these are the same people that were being hailed as brave freedom fighters struggling to overcome the brutal dictator Assad. Journalists are supposed to be in the business of collecting facts. It's a nice surprise to see that some are actually capable of recognizing a fact given evidence in a sufficiently shocking form.
