One of my neighbors is a former Detroit cop and says he never had to fire his weapon in the line of duty. He says he did draw several times in 11 years but only ever fired it on the range.
I’d say he had a successful career, and was lucky to have made it through without having to shoot anyone, or being shot himself...especially in Detroit.
