I seriously doubt it.

Officer Wilson would have been quite occupied by then.

I am only guessing as to policy and procedure.

My assumption is once other officers arrive to a scene , any officer involved in a shooting would not be standing around watching the body. He would be removed from the immediate area to:
-Give his statement
-Preserve the scene

IOW, I have doubts the officer standing next to the body is Officer Wilson, fractured orbit or not. Which begs the question when whats her name said Officer Wilson was standing there “looking bewildered” and wondering “what have I done” did anyone attempt to verify the identity of said officer?

Rhetorical question as we all know the answer.
