For all the whining about the militarization of the police, now they get actual military and they don’t want that, either. At least police have some training in arresting people, keeping the peace, and have to abide by certain rules, but the military is pure force.
Well, at least it used to be until the politicians turned it into a social experiment and a kinder, gentler military.
Speaking of social experiments I see that some of the players in last night’s Redskins game got political and were “surrendering” in memory of Browny. And we have a pro team right in downtown St. Looy, currently known as the St. Looy Lambs since they started hiring queers. Maybe they could send over the first string to sweet talk the hoodlums? Maybe sign a few autographs? Maybe share some weed?
