i don’t think they were point blank as the autopsy said, there was no powder residue on the body, and they hadn’t yet checked the clothing. i think i read the baden report for this info. not the NYT version. and the entering his chest and arms into his lungs may confirm my theory that his arms were up not at his side but in an attack posture. lunging at the officer. i think the baden one is the a’y that i read. there is still a grouping of the shots in that type of posture.
