According to the scanner earlier, the whole thing started when the Mcdonalds called to say there were looters there, and they locked themselves in, they asked the cops for evac, and the protestors would not give way. That’s when the riot gear came in.
Also per scanner, car accident was car vs cop (Car hit the cop at a high rate of speed.)
