That is so sad...I’m so sorry your grandma had to experience that.
We have a rule in our family...no one is ever alone in the hospital.
I know some folks have no other choice, or cannot be with their loved ones at all times. We rearrange everyone’s schedules to make sure our family members aren’t alone, there.
I know nursing homes are a different story. This just makes a sad situation a bad situation....that’s only going to get worse.
Thank you for your kind words. I did not live near the city where she was, and for some reason, my dad didn’t pursue it.
I have heard other stories of blacks abusing white patients. Honestly, it makes you want to move as far away from blacks as you can get.
