It’s kind of like a new slant on the Streisand Effect. In her quest for revenge she’s made her local drunken episode into national news. This can not possibly end well for her.
We reported last week that Doggett supported President Obamas decision to nominate San Antonio-based lawyer Michael McCrum for the post.

I’ll bet they would have had to strap her down like Hannibal to get a blood test. lol.
According to the video of her processing, they did.

Ooooops, I thought it was just a breatheriser test.
...nevermind.
LOL!
Of course David Axelrod is calling this indictment BS, Obama uses the threat of executive action to get what he wants every time he opens his mouth.
I would not assume that at all...
If Davis and her idiots think this will give them some sort of boost in the polls, I wish them well...I hope they get it, I really do...
It will not make up enough room to garner much of anything in the long run...
A new set of folks will be in charge of this state in November...I might not like some of them that much, but at least it will not be Davis, or whatever is down ballot on her side of the slate for the democrats in Texas...
They do not own the narrative, or the votes in this state to make a difference in November’s outcome...
In looking at “texas sentencing for DWI” I find that 72 hrs in jail and a fine if most common or recommended. So why did she get over a month? And yes the court ordered her to give up her license, but if every lawyer caught drunk had the same sentence the state bar would be having some new rules>
Like I said, one of many battles to look forward to.

It’s a FELONY when you blow that high, similar to being drunk with kids in the car.
The battle is on now...The last volley will be in November...
What can we count on you to do to increase turnout and a good outcome for the war???
Every little bit counts...
You seem ready to be plugged in and ready to go, regardless of what is said and done...
Best of luck...
John Cornyn and Kay Bailey recommended McCrum
It’s Austin’s jury pool. The lib arm pit and political blue blight of Texas. City motto is, “Keepin’ Austin Weird” which they’re doing an excellent job. No where in the world, outside of CA, can you find more hippies straight out of the 60s and, sadly, many are Californians who moved here to make a change, i.e. converting TX to CA. Austin is home not only to 60s hippies but uber lib UT, tree huggers, nekkid Hippy Hollow freaks and diversity up the wahzoo.
Vodka is her poison?
Let’s all send vodka bottles to her office.
I think the strategy here is to demand a timely trial like right now. If the DA isn’t ready, then move to dismiss. You have a right to a timely trial. Just attack the DA.
Empty ones only. You don’t want to abet a drunk
thanks - still think there is more in the sentence than stories tell so far
Wrong, Obama recommended him and John and Kay went along to get along. It happens all the time, take a moment to review the Supreme Court. A democrat recommends and some foolish republicans tow the line. The man is a Democratic operative and leans so far left he is in danger of falling.
