I for one would, like George Zimmerman, use a weapon to avoid playing Duk-Koo Kim to some drunk idiot's Ray Mancini.
Michael Bell behaved like a lunatic - bad things often happen when you behave that way.
Is it possible that after multiple investigations over the course of a decade the result might just be that Michael Bell was a grown up who was responsible for his own actions and those actions' consequences.
I acknowledge Bell Sr.'s grief and his obsession - they are completely understandable - but his feelings cannot alter reality.
As far as I can tell he was handcuffed, back or front, I don't know...so I doubt he was swinging...
My issue is the cop putting the gun to his temple and pulling the trigger not once, but twice...
A head shot is almost always fatal...
He could have just as easily shot him in the leg, torso, to get him to comply...
I also go back to the fact there were three cops there, unless this kid was strong beyond normal, three cops should be able to get him on the ground and subdue him...without putting a gun to his head...
