The Chief of Police came on today on national media and said the Officer did NOT hear the call about the robbery and had no idea Brown was a suspect.”
He didn’t stop them because of the robbery, but he likely realized they were the suspects during his interaction with them. He certainly heard the two radio calls and knew there had been a robbery, and heard the descriptions.
