Hmmmm.
Jackson said Wilson was on a sick call from 11:48 until noon. While he was at the sick call, dispatch sent out a description at 11:52 of a robbery suspect, which according to the incident report was of a black male in a white t-shirt. While Wilson was still at the sick call, dispatch sent out a further description of the suspect at 11:57:47, which according to the incident report was that he was wearing a red Cards cap and yellow socks.
Wilson left the sick call at 12:00:07. He encountered Brown at 12:01 according to Jackson. Brown was dead by 12:03 according to the first live tweet of the incident.
If Wilson’s first contact with Brown was at 12:01, how did he hear/read the suspect description at 11:57:47 but after he passed Brown and Johnson in the street? I’m confused.
Don’t know. Could have been inaccurate statements made by someone....the Timeline will all shakeout...
They carry radios on their person... he could be on one call and hear another call. Happens all the time...
I don’t find that part of the timeline troubling.
The driving time from the sick call address to the scene is 10-11 minutes.
The officer had to leave the sick call WHEN THE ROBBERY WAS REPORTED AT 11:54 to make the new location.
You say a description was issued at 11:57. The officer still has three minutes to get to the scene.
At 12:00, the officer passes the suspects and the incident occurs.
