By implying that Gentle Giant was "murdered", you are putting way too much stock in the testimony of GG's accomplice, and the testimony of his peers. There are plenty of scenarios in which this was a justified shooting. Remember, we now know he had just committed second-degree robbery, and was facing significant jail time. An assault by this thug, given his size, would have been quite deadly, meaning the officer was dealing with a very "life-threatening" situation.

The autopsy didn't go the race pimps way (they are asking for more autopsies, presumably until they get one which matches the testimony of Gentle Giant's accomplice). The autopsy (and other physical evidence) would show the direction the big guy was traveling, and whether the execution-style shooting scenario was even possible.

Your "what if I'm black" scenario is even more insulting. What you are doing is lumping this guy in with the blacks in these cultures who really are trying to do good (and there are actually many of them, whom I know personally, living where I do). It is incredibly offensive to them when that type of statement is made, and I just got an earful from one young black lady who was irate that whites view all blacks as needing special treatment (her ire wasn't directed at me, but rather at the media for not seeing this guy for "what he was" -- her words). She knows, and you don't (apparently), that until blacks get treated like adults, as opposed to special ed children, nothing will ever change for the better.
