Does the perp represent enough of a danger to society that he should be shot? Should he just be chased down? More cops called? Wait for him to show up at a hospital?
But, once again, you are taking the statements of the witnesses as the whole truth - when we already know that their statements were NOT truthful.
This "kid" was just involved in a robbery, where physical force was used against the clerk, THEN, this "kid" attacked an armed police officer, in a marked car, through the window - does that not sound like someone who is a threat to the general public? Or do you think he is just going to jog home and never do anything illegal nor harm anyone again?
If, IF, this cop shot Brown, with his arms in the air, while on his knees (as the not-so-truthful witnesses have stated), then the cop needs to be charged with MURDER! Otherwise, I feel that this cop was doing his job.

Right, agreed. Let the facts come to light.
But if he *was* running, even if he assaulted the police officer, I think a different standard of force applies. Maybe send TJ Hooker chasing after him. That cop can catch any perp on the run.
