Yup. Good catch!
Unless you count Kent State, that was the first warm-up for what we have now. But the victims @ Kent State weren't like us. And Operation Move were crazy black radicals, so even though most of the victims were innocent neighbors, we didn't care too much.
Then came Ruby Ridge. But, that was under Bush I and Randy Weaver was a nasty piece of work. So, who cared?
Then Waco. But, polite society didn't care about those trashy people and their kids getting incinerated.
Then, Elian.
Remember that parable from Nazi Germany about, "First they came for ..."? Well, too late. "It" happened here.
Ruby Ridge was under Janet Reno as AG wasn’t it? Or did I miss something?
Better check your facts in Ruby Ridge. Randy Weaver was setup by the Feds from the get go. The brutally murdered his unarmed wife and the robot that they sent to the cabin with the phone attached to it so they could try to negotiate with them had a shotgun mounted on it aimed right at the phone.
What did they think was going to happen when they sent in armed, camoflouged agents on to his property, shoot the dog, and then his son returned fire at an unknown shooter?
Why do you think the Feds paid that family millions in damages?
How would you respond to daily pysop tactics the Feds used. After murdering his wife they blasted out on loud speakers “good morning Mrs. Weaver, how’s your baby Mrs. Weaver!
These people and their tactics are disgusting but none of them were ever held accountable.
