It wouldn't surprise me one bit if ANONYMOUS was run out of the Pentagon, and used as a honeypot to lure hackers and other malcontents, with the occasional high profile arrest to deflect any suspicion of its true nature.

Seems like they want to keep the fire going and spread it nationwide.
