Here’s another: the annoying two-sentence iambic pentameter on most reality TV shows. First sentence up, second sentence down. Next cue card. I can’t watch more than two minutes of that.
I used to be a radio producer and any kind of voice affectation is going to turn listeners off. I always told people in the studio, just be yourself and speak in your normal voice. No fake accents or trendy affectations. Always think before you talk, and speak confidently and from the diaphragm, especially when going to job interviews.
Oh is it a Canadian female thing?? I have a Canadian friend that does that, it’s SO irritating!
