Putin has no problem whatsoever with using Chechens to do his dirty work. Witness Georgia, and now Ukraine.
These aren’t Wahhabis but seculars who helped to take control over Chechnya from Islamists in the first place.
I haven’t heard any stories about rapes and beheadings from both Georgia and Ukraine.
