I've seen suggestions here that the dead guy had at least several contacts with police regarding violence and/or firearms. However,I've seen several stories (in the lamestream media) saying that he had no record at all.Of course "no record" could simply mean no convictions as of that moment.IMO,it was very helpful and,as it turned out, illuminating to learn of the filthy, stinking background of Saint Trayvon. That background (along with photos of his bloodied head) made it *much* easier for me to believe GZ's side of the story.

Similarly,if this guy had anything resembling a history of violence it would make me much more receptive to any police claim of "justified shooting".

The records would not include any juvenile (I presume) if he had any. This still looks bad and with the Press agenda and people wanting their 15 minutes of fame, IMHO witness statements might be iffy. The reaction of the criminal/race baiting element pushing their agendas is overtaking this shooting.

Just to set the record straight:

Michael Brown had no criminal background

ST. LOUIS COUNTY – An 18-year-old shot and killed near a Ferguson apartment complex Saturday afternoon had no criminal record, according to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office....

St. Louis County Prosecutor’s office confirmed that Brown had no prior misdemeanors or felonies against him.

On one of the early Ferguson threads here, someone posted a pending court case for a violent crime involving a Michael Brown of the same age.

Another thread even started with a rap sheet, as well as repeated later. However what was shown all seemed to involve one robbery on 11/2/13. Plus sealed juvie.

You can have multiple offenses as a juvenile, and so long as you obey what the court tells you to do they will be “expunged” when you turn 18. Could be the case here.

How is it that the LEO and kid were fighting through the window of his patrol vehicle?

Doesn’t make sense unless the kid jumped the officer, leaving him few choices.

Even if the kid had a past of violence, being shot as your run running away and supposedly again, while he was on the ground doesn’t seem right and LEO’s don’t have the right to end a life under that circumstance, particularly if he was unarmed.

It’s been five days. The thin blue line would be leaking like a sieve to cover their companion’s butt if they had anything. Nothing skimmed from social media either.

They’ve been in major CYA mode from the first minute. It doesn’t look good.
