I feel exactly the same way. Usually you would get a more accurate account of things from the police.
What is perplexing in this case, is that the police department hasn’t released the policeman’s account of the incident. It’s almost a week in, and nothing.
Actually on day one after the incident the St Louis Coounty Chief of Police did release the policeman's account or part of it but since that day there has been no follow-up or corroboration because it has turned out to be without merit and contrary the facts as they are coming out.
His claim was that there was initially 1] a struggle for the gun 2] in the front seat of the vehicle 3] where the first shot was fired 4] but nobody was hit.
These 4 lies were thrown out there by the Chief from day one to set the narrative but they are turning out to be bold faced lies wrong on all 4 counts.
And they hadn't even gotten to the 7 other shots that happened after that.
