There is a reason why the military still has a zero tolerance policy on illegal drugs — People who use them make stupid, unpredictable, and unreliable decisions and cause other people to die.

Nothing about legalization would prevent the military, or any other employer, from retaining a zero-tolernace policy on any mind-altering substance.
