"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
I always like how they miss the "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" portion.

And also, and perhaps most importantly, it begins “”Congress shall make no law...”.
So in other words, it’s all about what Congress WILL NOT do, not about what that WILL do.

I always like how they miss the "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" portion. I was always interested in how they miss "Congress" and confuse schools, football teams, baseball teams, The Boy Scouts (kicking them out of public places due to their prior stances), etc... with "Congress", and how they are able to establish a religion.
