OK. So if this TRIAD system works, how can we make this happen?

I earlier posted a link at another site which showed the mountain range where they are trapped. It is at least 25 miles long by 4 miles wide. Many of these people are so far gone that they would be lucky to be able to walk a few hundred yards if they saw packages dropped. What is really need is medics airdropped/delivered over the whole 25 mile spread, which is not likely to be able to be done in time to save many even if the American public approved “boots on the ground.” This would most safely be done by helicopters. The aircraft need some place to take off from, where would that have been with the chaos in Bagdad? Look at a map. Of course it would help if wherever they were located they were already loaded with MREs and small water bottles, rather than 100 lb. bags of flour, rice and big oil tins which would be more likely for urban food deliveries. NOTE: I have a son in Special Forces who has served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also was in charge of a helicopter maintenance group for a while. Trust me, it ain’t so simple folks.
