You’d be shot before you could be arrested, though. And rightly so if you were trying to get control of an officer’s sidearm.

really? You mean pointing the gun at the perp with a distance between him and you is not enough? You would take him out too?

If Brown was trying to get the officer's sidearm then it happened in the car, becasuse police are saying one round was fired in the vehicle. Brown was shot 35 feet away from the car so any struggle was over. Brown had not been successful; the officer still had his gun, He was no longer trying to get the officer's gun but instead was trying to flee. Any threat to the officer's safety was over and instead he shot an unarmed man who was no threat at the time.
