“Why was a kid walking in the middle of the street? You can get killed like that.”
It’s much easier to navigate a street than a sidewalk when you’ve had too much Skittles and watermelon tea.
Seems like police departments are realizing that they are going too far and some have started addressing the problem.
A local news channel in Cleveland ran a piece regarding the 2012 shooting of two unarmed suspects (13 cops fired 137 rounds, killing two people) and how the RNC convention in 2016 will help improve the Cleveland police department. The Feds will be retraining the force and providing new equipment.
The most interesting part was an interview with Cincinnati’s police chief and how changes were made to deal with a growing hostility between the police force and citizenry there.
I see you found a nit to pick... Congratulations.
“... a deliberate campaign to make us doubt all of the intelligence community, ...”
I am comfortable that the career professionals in the FBI, CIA and military intelligence remain untainted, however the other intelligence agencies as well as the appointed leaders of all intelligence agencies are mostly political provocateurs, IMO.
I second it - ‘blacks use the situation to destroy, loot, and steal.’ And they justify it by their victimhood. They are inviting SWAT team response, and then they really get to be the victim. Just like Hamas.
***The thug was a walking in the street instead of the sidewalk.***
I knew a man who was driving into town one night. He felt a bump in the road and didn’t think anything about it till later a young woman dressed in dark clothing was found dead in the road. She had been walking down the middle of the road in the dark, dressed in dark clothing, the very thing all our driving classes in high school warned us about.
It was considered an accident. The family of the girl killed forgave the driver as she should not have been doing that, but a Judge gave him time in the pen for leaving the scene of a fatality accident.
To be fair-It is a difficult job being a police officer when you have these idiots to deal with.
The Ghetto for years has been fed the messages of “F Tha Police” and “Snitches Get Stitches.” It’s no wonder cops are like that. They are the only thing that keeps those zoos from blowing up.
To paraphrase from “A Few Good Men”, “You want them on that wall.....you NEED them on that wall.”
You are quoting Col Nathan Jessup, who, after that quote eventually reveals that he ordered the "code red". As he justifies his actions, Jessup is arrested by the MP's.
And all it did was weaken a country.
Also consider how left wing the screenwriter was, of course he was going to make Jessup the bad guy.
At some point in the 80's Democrats quit calling police 'pigs' and starting courting them. That was the beginning... the slow birthing start of an American police state.
Can’t argue with your assessment.
Good point, I haven’t heard them called pigs since the late 70’s.
Well, in our small town, we often use the street because the sidewalks are old, broken and uneven. The street is also better lit than the sidewalk which is often shadowed by trees, cars, fencing and shrubbery. We also don't get yapped at by dogs as much when passing through "their" territory.
His friend said he was shot in the back. That should be easy to determine.
>>Consider NYC. Its police force, if it were a country, would make it the 20th largest army in the world. Other cities in the US have a very large police presence as well. To not expect several bad eggs in each of these departments is unrealistic. <<
Let me give you an idea about this 20th largest army in the world.
Police officers are generally dispersed amongst society at a rate of 1 cop per 1000 civilians. So one civilian with a rifle and scope has the capability of taking out *his” one thug police officer. Never be cowed by the fact there is a few thug police officers in your area.
Learn who these thug police officers are and where they live. When the time comes that thug police officers are being given and obeying illegal orders such as mass firearm confiscation, selectively take them out of the picture.
The rest of the force will probably breathe a sigh of relief. They know who the thug police officers are on their force and there’s not a damn thing they can do about it either, at least right now.
I just thank the Lord this isn’t a problem in my area. If it is, I sure haven’t heard any of my friends or neighbors talking about it.
You're not alone.
I think it is higher than 1 in 1000 now a days but that still leaves out a lot of government agencies, pretty much all are armed these days
