That was one of the few areas I felt completely safe in St Louis. Even late at night, it always felt safe.
The locals are watching for trouble, and will call the cops. Very few have guns, but there are a lot of weapons ...
I also imagine the Hill is safe. My SIL laughed when I asked if she thought the ferals would make it to the Italian side of town.
