I supposedly don’t need to “download” anything but it keeps crashing. Multiple times, daily. Reload page, then crash again.

I thouht I was the only one with that problem. Maybe it has to do with our video cards? I don’t care enough about it to investigate.

Are you using built-in MS-IE browser? I quit using that thing back in 2008, and switched to Opera. Haven’t had any problems until recently w/ pMSNBC.
