I can barely handle the family Glock. I live in an open carry state. My neighbor takes me out for practice and I use his wife’s Ruger.

One of the Rp daughters bought a Benelli 12 gauge pump, though I tried to get her to opt for a 20. Still she is big enough for the 12 but it is more recoil.
If you ever do get a shotgun get a big sheet of cardboard, mark aim points on it and shoot from say 10 feet, 20 feet etc. You’ll see how little shot spread there is up close unlike in the movies.
