I don’t want to breed any but would love to see the temperament of my Jack Russell bred into more.

I’d like to breed back the “Alaunt,” considered extinct, from the genes of it’s many descendant breeds. Do we need a ping list?

I’ve known only one Jack Russell, and had no like of it.

I used to have a Jack Russell Terrier Terrorist. She was the best working dog in her dog obedience class - smart as a whip & loved to 'work'; however, we did some serious "head-knocking" when she was a pup over who was going to be in the pack leader position! One thing about JRs .... they don't stay on the floor. She was like a cat and could get up on anything in a flash. She died quietly in her sleep at 13, quite the contrast to her one heck of a gung-ho life. A friend has one that hunts with the 'big dogs' (labs, Chessies, Goldens) - pheasants no less. Love the breed, but they are definitely not for everyone.
