In the Luhansk oblast, paratroopers of the Lviv-based 80th Brigade destroyed a large column of terrorists moving from Sukhodolsk to Luhansk, UNIAN cites Prava Sprava NGO head Dmytro Snehiriov as saying Aug. 2.

The paratroopers destroyed 7 tanks, 5 APCs, 3 Grad missile batteries and 7 trucks with ammunition.

They also killed about 120-150 terrorists, he said.

The paratroopers were based at Lviv, but their combat engagement occurred along the M04 motorway between Luhansk and the Russian border on the eastern end of the Ukraine.
