Congratulations - all of you have done some research and are correct in your findings.
There is no excuse for red states to still have open primary systems (especially not Texas - IMO, that’s why we still have RINO Sen. Cornyn).
Again IMO, open primary systems and the calendar order of State’s Primaries are a big part of the reason our country is in so much trouble. For many years, the GOP Presidential candidate has already been declared by the time the Texas primary is held, which suppresses voter turnout for other races.
There is no excuse for RED states putting up RINO’s like Thad Cochran. He is guaranteed Appropriations Chair IF he wins.
That is now in jeopardy all because of the GOPe and their need for power over policy.
