So where are the Obama advisors like Samantha Powers who had developed a philosophy of American military intervention on behalf of people in other countries? IIRC she was gung ho for intervention in Rwanda. It seems like similar logic would apply here, especially since we helped set all this in motion. Not a peep from them though.

That’s true about Powers and Rwanda. There hasn’t been a peep from the UN about this mess in Iraq that I’ve heard.
