A rabid Hawaii Democrat will throw any ally under the bus for politics. Hanabusa is running against Rep Schatz (she is behind by a large margin in the polls) for a House seat - it’s comical to see two Hawaii Democrats out liberal themselves - and wants to show she is more liberal. Both candidates are using Obama’s policies as their campaign platform though Obama’s popularity declines everytime a new poll is taken. Delusional and hypocritical is the best I can do for ALL of them. Meanwhile, the people suffer.

Not quite. Hanabusa is giving up her U.S. House seat to run against Schatz (sp with an i) for the U.S. Senate seat he now holds. He was appointed to fill the seat by Governor Evercrummy (sp) when Sen. Dan Inoue died. Inoue had wanted Hanabusa to succeed him.
The election is tomorrow.
