Islamic extremist group ISIS is continuing its systematic genocide of Christians, Kurds and non-Sunni Muslims in Iraq. Just this week, the group allegedly beheaded a group of Christian children and put their heads on stakes for display in a community park.
In an interview with CNN, Mark Arabo, a Chaldean-American with intimate knowledge of the situation, stated, "There is a park in Mosul, where [ISIS] they actually beheaded children and put their heads on a stick and have them in the park," he reported. "More children are getting beheaded, mothers are getting raped and killed, and fathers are being hung."
Catholicnews.org has posted some extremely graphic photographs seemingly confirming the horrific news from Iraq.
In recent months, the terror group ISIS has strengthened its grip on Iraq, killing thousands in their wake. In the last few weeks, ISIS has been behind bombings at Shiite mosques and Christian churches.
The recent atrocities committed by ISIS have pushed the civilian death toll close to 6,000 for 2014 so far, while over 1.2 million civilians have fled their homes, according to The Guardian.
According to Arabo, ISIS is marking the homes of many of those who have fled with "death stamps". This means that if any of these people return to their homes, ISIS will kill them on sight.
"This is a crime against humanity," Arabo stated. "This is much broader than a community or a state. This is crime against humanity. They are doing the most horrendous, the most heart-breaking crimes that you can think of."
He continued, "Christian holocaust is in our midst. This should never be happening in 2014."
Fox News is reporting, "Pope Francis also is calling for world governments to take measures to protect Christians driven from their villages in northern Iraq and provide them with humanitarian aid."
We know all cultures are equal. CELEBRATE DIVERSITY!!
This is what has me rolling my eyes at all of this.
These people are completely aware of what is coming and likely where, and they will melt away until we are done shooting million dollar missiles at empty tents. I mean, these people have a Twitter feed! I’m more than sure they can access CNN.com.
This isnt an organized army with bases. Just look at their brothers in Afghanistan, and how we are sill fighting them.
Why is the ‘church’ not crying out for persecuted Christians?
We threw away a golden opportunity for a game-changing strategic surprise, to jump the ISIS convoys on the roads and packed in camps. What they have done already deserves that kind of massive response with air power. Every vehicle sporting an ISIS flag or markings should be prey for our air power. Obama should have announced the decimation of ISIS.
Instead, he defined another “red line” (Irbil) and told ISIS, “You just keep on going everywhere else.” While ISIS goes house to house, beheading men and capturing girls and women to be sex slaves.
I wonder what Western feminists would think about being captured as Muslim sex slaves, or undergoing forced female genital mutilation/clitorectomy?
Obama logic: The combination of this being the 21st century and his mere presence as president should be sufficient to secure a tranquil world.
Bump
Maybe this is why Obummer is finally talking about airstrikes. Because they’d be FOR THE CHILDREN!!
Wait til we play cowboys and isis.
You really have to give the “moderate” Muslims credit for chutzpah. Kill a few of them, and they’re out in the streets yelling about genocide and war crimes. But when the ROP is caught red-handed, practicing real genocide in the most brutal way possible, you can hear the crickets chirping.
How many plane loads of these kids will arrive here in the U.S. on the not too distant horizon.
The Catholic Church is.
Agreed.
Yes sir!
I’m still trying to figure out why he’s pretending to care. Something must have happened.
” I wonder what Western feminists would think about being captured as Muslim sex slaves, or undergoing forced female genital mutilation/clitorectomy?”
Oh, come on! That’s their culture. How can you judge them? /s
The Catholic Church is.
I’m speaking about every pastor, & priest - not just the spokesperson.
