Jenny Kutner, who is the Assistant Editor of the pro-abortion website, Salon.com, announced in an August 1st article that she was having an abortion this past weekend. In the article, Kutner explains how she took measures to prevent pregnancy by placing a copper IUD in her uterus one year ago.
She writes, “I dont want to have an abortion, which is why I got an IUD to give myself a 99 percent chance of not having to consider the procedure for a decade, or ever. (Clearly the IUD failed, so I guess Im the 1 percent.) What I definitely, definitely dont want, immeasurably more than I dont want to have an abortion, is to be pregnant or have a child. So Im not going to. At least, not right now. ”
Then she continues by thanking her lucky stars that she no longer lives in her hometown of Texas because in New York she is trusted to make her own decision. “There are no mandated ultrasounds in New York; no condescending scripts for the doctors to read; no increasing shortage of clinics because of legal entrapments that endanger womens health,” Kutner said.
However, she completely avoids the core of pro-life ideology, which is that the unborn child temporarily housed in a women’s body is a living person, just like the rest of us. The pro-life movement’s opposition to abortion has nothing to do with failing to trust women to make their own decisions. Rather, it is about the reality that abortion is always the wrong decision, no matter the circumstances of a woman’s pregnancy.
Ultimately, pro-life ideology is based on biology, not on semantics or a desire to remove women’s rights. It centers on the fact that an unborn baby has a separate body, separate genetic makeup, and a separate heartbeat that its mother. The growing human is very similar to you and me, and now because of advances in ultrasound technology, we can watch the child smile, yawn, stretch, suck its thumb, and even smile.
The reasonable conclusion to come to after surveying these facts is that these tiny humans should be given the same rights and protections as the rest of society. But instead of discussing any of this in her article, Kutner sticks with words like “women’s health” and “entitlement” to clarify why her decision is her “right “as an American citizen.
She concludes by saying, “I dont know what comes next, how or if this will change who I am. Maybe it will, maybe it wont. I cant know that now. It isnt Saturday yet.”
One thing is certain, whether Kutner realizes it or not, her life will never be the same. Yes, she walked into a New York Planned Parenthood on Saturday pregnant, and yes, on Sunday she was no longer pregnant; but one does not walk away from a decision like that unaffected. In a matter of seconds, her baby will be ripped to shreds, and Kutner will forever be the mother of a dead baby. And with all my heart, I pray that maybe she reconsidered her decision.
Has Mo Dowd posed “duck face” for photos while frontin’ and showing some bling?
Personally, I almost want to thank her, for making the world a better place for my grandchildren and great-grandchildren, by taking herself out of the gene pool. Keep up the good work, Jenny!
Flame you? Hell no, I agree!
Abortion is a sacrament of the Left.
Only wish her mother had done the same thing.
You are enabling and encouraging murder. She could have given up her baby for adoption instead of killing it. The child would have grown up in a loving home and not grown up to be like her mother.
Touche’
In total agreement! It is NOT, or should NOT be, a unilateral decision!
“...she was having an abortion this past weekend.”
Another knucklehead writer.
She should have taken a Lewinsky for the Team.
After viewing all of the posts on this thread, I have to reaffirm my previously stated conclusion that you’ve been away far too long.
She doesn’t want to know. The picture alone indicates her moral perspective.
Posts #11 (removed), #16, #22, #26 and #31. Imo, none is a pro-life response.
If she did have an IUD, then she most likely has had multiple fertilized eggs (human babies) aborted from her system as that is how an IUD works I believe.
People with IUDs, mass murderers of the most innocent beings ever.

Do all of you take all life so cavalierly?
Should all [liberals, stupid people, poor people, people of certain ethnic backgrounds, etc.] have abortions whenever they get pregnant?
What about Jews, the majority of Jews are quite liberal, would things be "better" if Hitler had succeeded in killing all of them?
More than 56 MILLION INNOCENT AMERICANS have been murdered since 1973, why don't you believe that this is enough?
There are nearly 4000 INNOCENT AMERICANS murdered in abortuaries every day, the majority of the women are lower income, over a third are Black, most live in traditionally Democratic communities. Are we better off with "less of their spawn"? Does "taking them out of the gene pool" make America a better place?
bump
The fact that some people die at ten, some people die at 90, and others die at 32 is not an issue for me that I am going to concern myself with. I am above ground today, and consider it 'being lucky'..nothing more
I find it interesting you used Hitler in your original post....do you think the world would have been better off if Hitler's mom offed him in the womb 90+ years ago? I know 6 million Jewish ghosts, and 5 million US soldiers that might agree with me it would have been a good call.
Now, you have made your opinion known in your original post, and now I have followed up with my retort. I know that you will not care to agree with my opinion, as I do not with yours. Read my tagline...it's more than just a bunch of words to me.
