US-Israel ties at new low after Netanyahu-Kerry phone 'disconnect'

ow badly have US-Israel relations deteriorated in recent weeks? If Israeli media reports are any indication, tensions boiled over to the point where a phone call between US Secretary of State John Kerry and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu ended due to "communications problems" earlier this week. Both men have not spoken since, according to the State Department.
Kerry's spokesperson, Jen Psaki, told reporters in Washington on Tuesday that the two men have not spoken since a brief phone call over the situation in Gaza ended because of "communications problems."

What I’m hearing here is that Kerry hung up on Bibi.

If you were the Israeli PM and forced to accept a phone call from Secretary of State John “Lurch” Kerry, you'd hang up on this bloviating gasbag, too. Kerry is such an arrogant, insufferable dunderhead.

Rather than hang up, the best way to handle Kerry’s insufferable calls is put the phone down and let him blather on to an empty room. He’s mesmerized by the sound of his own voice and it should entertain him for hours.
